Résumé

This book explores the transformation of conventional power systems into intelligent, data-driven energy networks. It explains smart grid architecture, sensing and communication technologies, and the cloud–fog–edge computing hierarchy. Particular attention is given to the lifecycle of grid measurements, from collection and preprocessing to storage, analysis, retrieval, and security. Through empirical examples, the book demonstrates how statistical analysis, structured data retrieval, and neural-network forecasting can reveal electricity demand patterns and support informed decision-making. It provides a practical introduction to the architecture, data management, and analytical applications of modern smart grids.
